Balland-Galante is a London-based artist duo composed of set designer and artistic director Juliette Balland and jewellery designer and bioenergy therapist Claudia Galante. The collaboration was formed in 2011 following their shared study of bioenergy healing.
Working across sculptures, light installations, large-scale talismanic objects and home jewellery, Balland-Galante create layered works that explore memory, perception, and the shifting boundaries between reality and imagination. Their practice incorporates materials such as semiprecious stones, crystals, copper, bronze, polished stainless steel, and light, emphasising both material presence and metaphysical resonance.
Characterised by open structures and sculptural collages, their works balance opposing elements—light and weight, reflection and solidity, abstraction and symbolism—creating contemplative spaces that invite stillness, reflection, and sensory engagement.
